Legal battle set to erupt over Jimi Hendrix's shock sex video
London, June 30 (ANI): Rock legend Jimi Hendrix's camp is all set to fight out a legal battle to stop the release of the singer's shocking sex video.
In the video, the guitar giant is seen in a series of threesomes with former "super groupies" Pamela Des Barres and Cynthia Plaster Caster.
Both the ladies are believed to have made a fortune from the US release of 'Jimi Hendrix: The Sex Tape', along with the fan who found it.
Porn giant Vivid Entertainment plans to sell the DVD, including commentary and raunchy interviews with Cynthia and Pamela, worldwide.
As both are in bed with Hendrix, who died from an overdose in London in 1970, aged 27, Cynthia says in voice-over: "He could give you an all-encompassing, cosmic orgasm."
The film has been authenticated by experts.
But the James Marshall Hendrix Foundation, founded by the star's brother Leon, plans a global battle to stop its release.
"This is a despicable enterprise," The Daily Star quoted a statement, as stating.
Vivid refused to comment.
But an insider at its HQ in LA said: "This isn't just about sex. It's an important and historic piece of memorabilia." (ANI)
