Modern Oz kids more emotionally stable than 20 years ago
Melbourne, June 30 (ANI): A new study has revealed that Aussie kids are more emotionally stable today than 20 years ago.
Parallel studies conducted by the Australian Institute of Family Studies have shown that kids in 1980s were less sociable, less persistent and more intense than those in the new millennium.

The twin studies of almost 2500 children from 1983-1990 and about 10,000 children since 2004 have revealed that kids growing up with hip-hop and computer games are perhaps better socially adjusted than those raised watching Madonna on MTV and riding bikes around neighbourhood streets unbothered by stranger danger, reports News.com.au
They also found that two decades ago most of the two to three-year-olds faced difficulty in falling asleep and were more aggressive and destructive.
Moreover, kids of the '80s also suffered from worries and fears as well as conduct problems such as restlessness, fidgeting, fighting and disobedience. (ANI)
