Ficci to give Rs.10 mn to Mumbai heroes
New Delhi, Nov 29 (IANS) The Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) said Saturday it will give Rs.10 million to the families of the security personnel who died fighting terrorists in Mumbai.
'The true heroes of the war against the terror attacks in Mumbai - Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Havildar Chander of the NSG (National Security Guard) Hemant Karkare, Ashok Kamte, Vijay Salaskar along with 13 other of the Maharashtra Police - deserve our heartfelt reverence, gratitude and admiration,' Ficci president Rajeev Chandrasekhar said in a statement.
