Dalai Lama expresses sympathy with Mumbai victims

Dharamsala, Nov 28 (IANS) The Dalai Lama has expressed sympathy with the families of those killed in the terrorist attack in Mumbai, officials of the Tibetan government-in-exile said Friday.

 

The spiritual leader of the Tibetan community has also written to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh following the teror strikes.

 

 

'The scale of attacks in Mumbai was unprecedented in the history of India,' he wrote in the letter, according to a statement by the Tibetan government-in-exile.

 

 

The Dalai Lama is currently in Nigeria these days where he addressed the 10th Annual Anyiam-Osigwe Lecture series in Lagos Thursday.

 

 

From Nigeria, he will go to Czech Republic, Belgium and Poland.
