Mohali (Punjab), Nov 28 (IANS) Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel employee Jasmine Kaur, who was killed as terrorists attacked the luxury hotel Wednesday night, was cremated here Friday.
Her father, Maninder Singh, a Deputy Inspector General in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, brought back the body of his daughter from Mumbai Friday afternoon.
'Jasmine, 22, had shifted to Mumbai two months ago, where she worked as a front desk executive at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel. She was a determined girl and wanted to excel in the hotel industry,' said a grief-stricken relative of Jasmine.
Jasmine was one among the four people from Mohali who died in the terror attacks on Mumbai. The other three were the daughter-in-law and grandchildren of a retired army official who lives here.
'The dead bodies of other three victims have not been recovered yet,' said an official spokesperson here.
