Britney Spears announces dates for UK leg of tour

New York, Nov 27 (ANI): Britney Spears has revealed the first details of her highly anticipated 2009 world tour.

 

She has announced two live shows - June 3 and 4 - at London's O2 Arena.

 

However, nothing has been announced for North American dates.

 

"Nothing has been announced yet," the New York Daily News quoted Jive Records publicist Gina Orr said of stateside shows, as saying.

 

The pop star got the tentative go-ahead to begin booking gigs after making an in-person visit to the judge handling her court-ordered conservatorship.

 

Spears' last stadium concert was in Dublin in June 2004, before her divorce, bitter child custody battle and much-publicized mental breakdowns. (ANI)
