'Love rat' Gordon Ramsay tops 'Britain's Sexiest Male Celebrity Chef' poll

London, Nov 27 (ANI): Despite reports of his alleged extra-marital affair, Gordon Ramsay has been voted 'Britain's Sexiest Male Celebrity Chef'. The Michelin-starred restaurateur topped a poll of 4,000 women.

In the survey, conducted by the Internet research group OnePoll, the Frenchman Jean-Christophe Novelli came second while Marco-Pierre White was voted third.

Saturday morning television favourite James Martin landed the fourth spot while Jamie Oliver rounded off the top five.

According to a spokesman for OnePoll, the disclosures about Ramsay's private life may even have boosted his appeal.

"We weren't surprised that Gordon came out on top," the Telegraph quoted the spokesman, as saying.

"Women go for bad boys all the time. The fact he's rumoured to be cheating on his wife for years only adds to his appeal. It makes him more obtainable for everyday women on the street," he added.
