A fashion show showcasing footwear held in Chennai
Chennai, June 28 (ANI): A fashion show, showcasing the best of comfortable and trendy footwear, held in Chennai recently.
A leading footwear brand from United Kingdom, Pavers England, displayed its collection.
Leading male and female models of the country sashayed down the ramp wearing the brand's latest range of footwear before a host of city's glitterati.
On display were wide ranges of smart and formal wear for men and women. It was a collection of trendy and comfortable designs to suit the attires for different occasions.
The footwear brand, which was initially launched in Bangalore, is now setting up an exclusive store in Chennai following a surge in its sales.
"We actually launched the product in April at Bangalore and we have been in reliance foot prints for the past three months. We have received an overwhelming response. The product is perfect for the Indian market. It's got European design, comfort, durability and the pricing is perfect. So we think we have combined the European fashion and Indian durability with the price factor and introduced this product," said Yaver Shala, Managing Director, Pavers England (Indian operations).
Yaver Shala said the company plans to launch fifteen centres, including one in Chennai, and will go up to 50 shops in future. (ANI)
