Barack Obama 'appoints' World of Warcraft gamer as one of his advisers!

London, Nov 26 (ANI): US President-elect Barack Obama has enlisted a regular player of online fantasy game World of Warcraft as one of his transition advisers, according to reports.

 

The man, who is charged with providing Obama with information about the US media regulator, likes to spend his free time fighting monsters and completing quests on the fictional planet of Azeroth.

 

Kevin Werbach, an academic, is a member of two guilds in the world's most popular online game, playing under the name Supernovan Jenkins, reports the Telegraph.

 

The man is such a big fan of the game that his "Tauren Shaman" character has reached Level 70, one of the higher ranks.

 

Werbach, an assistant professor of legal studies and business ethics at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, is to co-author a review of the work of the Federal Communications Commission, to help Mr Obama plan his media policies when he assumes the presidency in January. (ANI)
