Dharamsala, Nov 22 (IANS) Tibetans in exile here Saturday decided that no further talks would be held with China over the Tibet issue unless Beijing 'responds positively' to their demands and also threatened to 'go for complete independence and self determination'.

The decision was taken unanimously at a special meeting here, Karma Choephel, speaker of the Tibetan parliament in exile, told reporters after the meeting.

China has not acceded to any of their demands, including giving them 'genuine autonomy' and other lesser demands, he said.

'We will not send any envoy of the Dalai Lama for further talks until China responds positively. If China does not respond we will have no option but to go for complete independence and self determination,' he said.
