Eight killed in China hotel fire

Taiyuan (China), Nov 22 (Xinhua) Eight people were killed and 16 injured when a hotel in north China caught fire early Saturday, authorities said.

 

Rescuers found seven bodies after the fire was put out. One of the 17 injured succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.

 

 

The fire broke out in the seven-floor Jintian hotel in Luliang city at 6 a.m. Firefighters fought the blaze for three hours.
