No polling in five Chhattisgarh booths

New Delhi, Nov 20 (IANS) The Election Commission Thursday said the second phase of assembly polls in Chhattisgarh was boycotted by people in five booths at different places in protest against politicians' apathy towards their problems.

 

People boycotted the elections in three polling booths in Janjgir-Champa district two in Raigarh, Deputy Election Commissioner J.P. Prakash told reporters here.

 

 

Meanwhile, he said two polling officials died of cardiac arrest in Raipur district while on duty.
