Cate Blanchett's 'body fitting' love advice to find perfect partner!

London, Thu, 20 Nov 2008 ANI

London, November 20 (ANI): Cate Blanchett gave traditional love advices a beating when she suggested a viewer that the best way of finding a perfect partner was to see if the bodies 'fit when sleeping together'.

When the Oscar winning actress was questioned on what had she been looking for when she found her hubby, Cate offered the same advice that was given to her by somebody.

"Someone once said to me, and I think it's quite true, that if your bodies actually fit together when you're sleeping together in bed--I'm not going to get into too much detail-- you're in good stead," OK! magazine quoted her as telling a viewer on the 'Oprah Winfrey Show'.

"When you can spoon with someone, then you're okay. Because you might not vote the same way, you might not have the same politics, but sometimes that works for people," she added.

The Aussie celebrity, who tied the knot with husband Andrew Upton in 1997, further said that 'humour and self-respect' too were key essentials to a happy relationship.

She added: "If you're going to stay together, you've got to laugh a little bit. So spooning, humor and self-respect. My husband is a very strong individual. He's not threatened...He's happy for my success, and I'm happy for his." (ANI)
