Delhi dairy owner beaten to death by robbers

New Delhi, Nov 19 (IANS) A 23-year-old dairy shop owner in east Delhi was beaten to death by two unidentified assailants who tried to rob him, the police said Wednesday.

 

Akhil, who was running his dairy in Kalyanpuri area for the last two months, was killed late Tuesday night, a police official said.

 

 

“At around 3.15 a.m., when Akhil was sleeping inside the dairy, two armed men broke into dairy and tried to steal money. When he resisted, they thrashed him with a rod. He was injured critically,' the officer said.

 

 

Akhil was taken to the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
