Girl crushed to death by Blueline bus

New Delhi, Nov 19 (IANS) A 15-year-old girl was crushed to death when she came under the wheels of a Blueline bus in Delhi Wednesday, the police said.
Sonia, a class nine student of a government school in Deoli in south Delhi, was killed after she came under the wheels of the bus around 7 a.m. while she was waiting for her friend at the bus stop, the police said.
'The girl died on the spot and the bus driver plying on route number 423 between Deoli and Old Delhi Railway Station fled from the spot after the incident,' a police officer said.
More than 70 people have been killed this year under the wheels of Blueline buses.
Last year, at least 120 people were run over by Blueline buses.
