Another cargo ship hijacked in Gulf of Aden

Beijing, Nov 18 (Xinhua) Yet another vessel, a Hong Kong cargo ship, was hijacked by pirates in the Gulf of Aden near the Yemen coast Tuesday, the maritime search and rescue centre of China said here.

 

The ship named 'Delight' was carrying 36,000 tonnes of wheat and was headed for the Bandar Abbas port in Iran. It had 25 crewmembers on board.

 

 

On Saturday, Saudi Arabian oil super-tanker 'Sirius Star' with a 25-member crew was hijacked off the coast of Kenya by Somali pirates.
