I'm not making Lanka, says Samir Karnik

Mumbai, Nov 18 (IANS) Director Samir Karnik, whose recent release 'Heroes' faired well at the box office, is baffled by a news report that he's making a film entitled 'Lanka'.
'Right now it's just a thought. Certainly not a project. Maybe this is the producer(Vikas Kapoor)'s way of getting financiers interested in a project,' Karnik, who is currently in Ajmer, told IANS.
'Right now I'm focusing entirely on 'Formula No 44'. I'm gathering my thoughts on that and letting the script take shape as I go along,' he added.
Karnik is in Ajmer to show 'Heroes' to the students of his erstwhile school Mayo College.
