Koena Mitra returns to Tamil screen after six years

Chennai, Nov 18 (IANS) After six years, Bollywood actress Koena Mitra returns to Tamil cinema with a cameo in 'Ayan'.

The actress, who was seen in films like 'Musafir' and 'Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena', shot for a dance number in a Mumbai studio with Tamil icon Surya. It was choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, publicist said.

Some action scenes featuring eight South African stuntmen were also filmed in specially created sets in Mumbai. Now only two songs composed by Harris Jayaraj are to be canned.

Cinematographer-turned-director K.V. Anand directs this venture which has Bollywood actress Tamanna in the female lead. It is expected to be released in the Tamil harvest festival of Pongal, industry sources said.
