Julianne Margulies declines ER comeback offer
London, November 18 (ANI): Former 'ER' actress Julianne Margulies has declined the opportunity to be in the final season of the hit American medical drama series.
The Emmy Award-winner, who went on to play Nurse Carol Hathaway for six years, had departed from the show eight years ago - despite the reported 27 million dollar offer to remain in the show.
Margulies, who has since appeared in 'The Sopranos', BBC mini-series 'The Grid' along with the 2006 film 'Snakes on a Plane', said she couldn't have chosen a better time to exit the NBC medical drama.
"I feel like I left Carol in the best scenario possible. I can't imagine making it any better than that, " BBC quoted her as saying.
The American star had won an Emmy nomination for every year that she was on the show, and the award itself for her first year's performance. (ANI)
