Ahmedabad, Nov 17 (IANS) Two senior Customs officers were caught Monday evening by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) allegedly accepting a bribe.
The CBI sleuths laid a trap on R.C. Parmar, assistant commissioner, and H.A. Koli, superintendent of Central Excise, after a complaint from a businessman.
The duo were held when they were receiving a bribe of Rs.5,000 from the businessman.
The trap was laid in the Ahmedabad excise office.
