Charlize Theron urging Republican pals to vote for Obama

Washington, Jun 26 (ANI): Charlize Theron, who has been supporting U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama, has also been campaigning secretly on his behalf among her own circle of friends.

Theron, who also recently became an American citizen, has been supporting the Democratic candidate for months.

The 32-year-old actress will be exercising her voting rights in the U.

S. for the first time during the November (08) elections, and she has admitted that she has been urging her Republican-voting pals to reconsider their choice.

"I think everybody knows I'm backing Barack Obama. There's certain things about him that I find truly inspiring," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"After his speech on race, I emailed a few people I knew who are probably going to vote Republican and suggested that they really listen to that speech," she added.

Meanwhile, Theron has revealed that she can go without a shower for a whole week. (ANI)
