Police officer suspended for sexually exploiting woman

Ghaziabad, Nov 17 (IANS) A police sub-inspector here was suspended Monday for sexually exploiting a woman about eight months ago, the police said.
Senior superintendent of police L. Ravi Kumar initiated action against Afal Singh after the SSP was given a CD containing evidence against Singh.
'When Singh was the station officer (SO) of Vijay Nagar police station, the woman had come to him for some help and he sexually exploited her,' Kumar said.
Kumar has initiated an inquiry into the case by a senior police officer.
