Lucknow, Nov 17 (IANS) A student, who had hit his college teacher with a country-made pistol, was nabbed Monday in Uttar Pradesh's Banda district, police said.
Abhishek Rana, a student of the Jawaharlal Nehru College, had hit his Hindi teacher Saturday after he was caught watching an obscene MMS in the classroom.
'Rana had assaulted a senior teacher of the college. Since then he was at large,' Police Inspector Gyanendra Prasad told IANS by telephone.
Rana, a student of B.A. Part III at the government college, was arrested from his relative's residence in Bijlikhera locality in Banda, about 200 km from here.
