Minor raped in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 16 (IANS) An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour here, the police said Sunday.
The victim, according to the police, was alone in her house in Burari area of south-west Delhi Saturday 8 p.m. when her neighbour Kishan assaulted her.
'Her neighbour, Kishan had come to her house in the evening and allegedly raped her when she was alone. She raised an alarm after which Kishan was caught by locals,' said the police.
Kishan, a labourer, was beaten by the crowd before he was handed over to the police.
The victim's father had died a few years ago and her mother works as a labourer in the area.
