Pammie roped in to boost American 'Kath and Kim' ratings
Melbourne, November 15 (ANI): Pamela Anderson is set to make a guest appearance on the American version of the award-winning Australian TV comedy series 'Kath and Kim' - in a bid to help boost its dwindling ratings.
While the original Aussie version had hired guest stars Kylie Minogue, Shane Warne and Geoffrey Rush, the US TV network NBC has approached the glamour model to help put some life back into the sitcom.
According to News.com.au, the decision of recruiting the blonde American for a guest appearance is seen as an attempt to save the show hitting the bottom pit of the rating chart.
The show, led by American actresses Molly Shannon and Selma, has seen its rating stooping to a disappointing 5.1 million Americans as compared to the 7.5 million who tune into NBC to see its October 9 premiere.
However, despite its uncertain future, NBC managed to stun all when it revealed that it had decided not to drop the series and instead picked up the show for a full season order. (ANI)
