Aamir switches to smoking as Jaane Tu....is ready to release

Shivani Gupta, Thu, 19 Jun 2008 NI Wire

Aamir finally admitted in his blog that he has regained his habit of smoke addiction and that too because of the tension bubbled up in his mind for 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na'. As the date of the release of the movie is coming nearer, Aamir feels unable to unload his mind of the stress and tension and has thus shifted to his previous addiction to smoking.

He even admitted in his blog that he has not been able to post a blog for some time because of that only. He termed his weakness as 'human frailties' and asked for forgiveness from his fans. Not only this, he even promised that he would completely leave smoking once 'Jaane Tu...' is released.

Although Aamir has tried his best to keep the blog short and under check for being restricted in talks about his smoking habits only, he intelligently thrusted the idea of his upcoming movie onto his viewers. By sharing his stress with his fans, he seeks for a compassion from them which can thereby aid in a wonderful opening of the movie.

It won't be far citing if blog may become another medium for the publicity of the new releases. At least the way Aamir is using the blog, the day is not far when there would be a full-fledged on-blog publicity material ready to serve the viewers in-hand.

Directed by Abbas Tyrewala the film 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na' is scheduled to be released on July 4, 2008. Its music and promos released last month have already created whips among movie buffs and being in association with Aamir Khan, the movie is expected to set a stiff fight to Love Story 2050, which is to be released on the same day.
