New Delhi, Nov 12 (IANS) Politicians may remain elusive once they are elected but as soon as they hear the magical word 'election' they start doing everything possible under the sun to seek publicity and appease voters.

In a bid to draw attention, an independent candidate, Sudesh Kumar Jain, reached the returning officer's office riding a buffalo for filling his nomination.

Jain is contesting from the Vishwas Nagar constituency in east Delhi.

A.K. Aggarwal went to the returning officer's office on a camel as he filed his nomination papers from the Babarpur constituency in northeast Delhi.

But the cake goes to an independent candidate from Seelampur constituency - Hafeez Ahmad Hawari - who took a donkey ride for the purpose.

Ravindra Bansal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who is fighting from the Shalimar Bagh constituency, recently took out a cycle procession.
