London, Nov 12 (ANI): Hollywood actor Jesse Metcalfe has fractured his leg after he fell down two flights of stairs, which were nearly 40ft above the ground.
The 'Desperate Housewives' star was hosting the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo, France, when he slipped as he headed back to his hotel in order to change.
He was immediately taken to the hospital after which he was flown to London to be reexamined, where after an MRI brain the doctors revealed he had escaped any damage to the brain but had fractured his fibula.
"Jesse knows he's had a very lucky escape. The accident could have been fatal," the Sun quoted Jesse's spokesman, as saying. (ANI)
