Islamabad, Nov 12 (Xinhua) Three people were killed in a suicide attack in northwestern Pakistan's tribal belt Wednesday, a day after a similar attack killed three at a Peshawar stadium.

An explosives-laden vehicle rammed into a school in Shabqadar Tehsil in Charsadda district of North West Frontier Province, Dawn News channel reported.

Three people were killed and more than 20 injured in the blast, the report said. The injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

Three security men were entering a base located in the school building when the bomber hit their vehicle at the main gate, according to the News Network International news agency.

A suicide bomber blew himself up at the main gate of the Peshawar Sport Complex in the northwest region during the concluding ceremony of the inter-provincial games Tuesday, leaving at least three dead and 20 others injured.
