India, Hungary to sign MoU for enhancing cooperation in Sports
Budapest (Hungary), Nov 11 (ANI): India and Hungary will sign an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for enhancing cooperation in the field of sports.
This was decided at the meeting of Dr. M.S. Gill, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports with his Hungarian counterpart, Dr. Istvan Gyenesei here today
Dr. Gill is currently on a four-day visit to Hungary.
During the meeting, both leaders discussed various modes for enhancing the cooperation between the two countries in the field of sports especially in the areas of coaching and training of athletes.
Dr. Gill evinced keen interest in engaging the coaches for Konoying, Kayaking and Fencing. Dr. Gill also extended his invitation to Dr. Gyenesei for visiting India.
Dr. Gill also visited National Training Institute, in Tata near Budapest and Hungary's Sports University in Budapest.
During his visit to campuses of the both Institutes, Dr. Gill discussed the modes of promoting cooperation between the Sports Authority of India and the National Training Institute and the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education in Gwalior. (ANI)
