Ghaziabad, Nov 10 (IANS) Contrary to some media reports that an Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) team of Maharashtra had raided some ashrams (hermitage) here, the Ghaziabad district police Monday said that no such search had taken place.
District police chief L. Ravi Kumar said: 'We have absolutely no knowledge of any such raid at any ashram by the ATS team across Ghaziabad. We have found out both officially and unofficially. We also enquired from the ATS team but even they denied it outright.'
'Any search operation in the district over any matter would be conducted jointly and after taking us in full confidence,' Kumar said.
