Jet Airways, United Airlines forge frequent flyer partnership
Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, will forge a frequent flyer partnership with United Airlines, one of the largest international carriers based in the United States, effective November 15, 2008.
With this partnership, Jet Airways’ JetPrivilege members may now earn and redeem JPMiles on the entire global network of United Airlines.

United Airlines operates more than 3,200 flights a day to more than 200 U.S. domestic and international destinations from its hubs in Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington D.C.
Similarly, United Airlines’ Mileage Plus members may now earn and redeem their miles while enjoying Jet Airways’ renowned service and in-flight product on its services to 64 destinations in India and beyond.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, CEO, Jet Airways said, “Jet Airways is proud to enter into a frequent flyer partnership with United Airlines, one of the most respected names in global aviation. Besides boosting connectivity across the busy India-USA sector, this partnership will also enable the passengers of both carriers to tap into their respective international networks, while earning and redeeming frequent flyer miles.”
Most recently, Jet Airways’ JetPrivilege, India’s largest frequent flyer programme, emerged victorious in seven categories, including the prestigious Program of the Year’, at the 20th annual presentation of the prestigious Freddie Awards 2007. This was for the fourth consecutive year Jet Airways was honoured at the Freddie Awards.
