"US policy on Pak to remain unchanged even after change in guard at White House"
Lahore, Nov 10 (ANI): US Consul General in Karachi Kay L Anske has said that despite the change in guard at the White House (on January 20), the US policy on Pakistan will not change.
After a meeting with Jamaat-e-Islami leaders in Karachi, Kay told media persons that the US presidential election was a part of a democratic process, and that a change in government did not necessarily translate into a change of policies.
Pakistan and the US had enjoyed good relations over the last 60 years, and the ties would be strengthened further in the future, the Daily Times quoted her as saying.
She added that the US administration was in contact with Pakistani political parties as part of efforts to stay up to date with the country's challenging political scenario. (ANI)
