Bhupathi-Knowels win first league match in Shanghai Masters

Shanghai, Nov 9 (IANS) India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles of Bahamas defeated Wesley Moodie and Jeff Coetzee in their first league match of Tennis Masters Cup here Sunday.
Bhupathi and Knowels, who are placed in the Red Group, scored a 6-2, 6-3 win over the South African pair.
The duo will play two more matches in the group.
Leander Paes and czech Lukas Dlouhy have been placed in the Gold Group and their first match is against sweden's Jonas Bjorkman and Kevin Ulyett of Zimbabwe Monday.
