Aarushi paid for father's sins: Dr. Talwar arrested

The hair-splitting case of the twin murder at Noida has taken a completely different course with the arrest of Dr. Rajesh Talwar for allegedly killing his domestic help Hemraj and his 14-year-old daughter Aarushi. He was reportedly arrested and after a nearly five hour long questionnaire, was taken on judicial custody for committing the twin murder.

The father cum killer committed the biggest mistake when he ranged up his lawyer only to reveal his extra-marital relations with his fellow dentist, Dr. Anita Durani. This was an act the police was waiting for to be committed by him as his phone was being tapped. He pushed himself into the trap laid by the police for him.

As per the Noida police, conclusions have been drawn that Dr. Talwar was having illicit affair with Anita about whom their servant Hemraj was aware. He revealed the secret to Aarushi, his fellow servants as well as people at Rajesh's workplace. He eventually developed deep intimacy with the teenager and was caught in “objectionable position” the night of the murder by Aarushi's father.

Dr. Talwar could not endure the sight and immediately planned to murder both of them. He asked Hemraj to go to the terrace and followed him with a hammer and a scalpel. He hit him hard on the head and then cut his throat with the surgical knife. He then covered his body with the cooler lid and came downstairs latching the door from outside. He gulped two glasses of wine in his drawing room and then came into Aarushi's room (where she was locked before he went upstairs) and murdered her in similar fashion. According to the Police, the murders were committed by Dr. Talwar in a fit of rage when he was not in his full senses and therefore cannot be considered as pre-planned murders.

Aarushi's mother, Dr. Nupur is also held in the probe of suspicion as she has remained unusually silent upon the whole matter so far. The colony, reports the police, is a very peaceful one with no external disturbances. Thus it is hard to believe that Nupur remained unaware of any kind of disturbances created in the house during the murders. Moreover the bedrooms of Nupur and Aarushi are hardly four feet apart. So even if she did not get to know about Hemraj's murder on terrace, it is practically not possible that she could not listen to the screams and shouts of her own daughter. It points that the murders could not have been feasible without the knowledge of the only other member of the family.
