Police registers murder case against 10-year-old Kanpur boy
Kanpur, Nov 8 (ANI): In a rare case the police have registered a case of attempt to murder against a 10-year-old boy in Kanpur.
Family members of the accused said that some miscreants entered into a brawl in front of their home on October 29.
The miscreants attacked Ajay, the accused, and his father when they asked them to leave.
However, two days later they came to know that Ajay has been named in a case of attempt to murder.
Ajay's mother said her son was traumatized after that.
"My son is not going out of the house as he is gripped by fear of police. He is terrified and has not attended school for many days," said Suman, mother of Ajay.
However, police said investigations were on and that law would take its due course.
"Police act and file cases according to the First Information Reports (FIRs). The case is under investigation and if the accused is found juvenile then we will take appropriate action according to law," said Ram Lal Verma, spokesperson of Kanpur Police. (ANI)
