54 file nominations in Delhi Friday

New Delhi, Nov 7(IANS) Fifty-four candidates of various parties, including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Friday filed their nominations for the Nov 29 Delhi assembly election.

 

Those who filed nominations included five candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party and seven of the Bahujan Samaj Party.

 

 

Four candidates of the Samajwadi Party, 23 Independents and two of the Lok Jan Shakti Party also submitted their papers.

 

 

The nominees also included one each of the Nationalist Congress party, the All India Forward Block, the National Jan Kranti Dal, the Rashtriya Krantikari Janata Party, Rashtriya Lok Dal, the Bharatiya Pragatisheel Congress, the Republican Party of India, National Panthers Party, Communist Party of India and the Communist Party of India-Marxist.

 

 

The last date for filing nominations is Nov 11.
