'I Kissed A Girl' song makes gays unhappy: Pink

Europe, Thu, 06 Nov 2008 IANS

London, Nov 6 (IANS) Pop singer Pink is not happy with singer Katy Perry's song 'I Kissed A Girl' because she feels it 'trivialises' lesbianism.

Contactmusic.com reports that Pink revealed she admires Perry saying she is 'f**king awesome', but she is not too fond of the song. Pink said her lesbian friends are not very happy with the song.

She said: 'What did I think of Perry's song? I thought 'I Kissed a Girl' was trivialising being gay. I've been speaking to my gay girlfriends about it, and they're kinda put off by it. I'm not judging and comparing, though.'
