Naresh Kumar qualifies for Indian Challenger squash

Chennai, Nov 4 (IANS) India's Naresh Kumar made it to the main draw of the $15,000 Indian Challenger squash tournament despite losing in the final qualifying round here Tuesday following the late withdrawal of Chris Truswell.

 

Naresh was included in the main draw as the 'lucky loser'.

Abdullah Almezayen (Kuw) bt Sandeep Jangra (Ind) 11-4, 11-2, 4-11, 11-3, to play Siddharth Suchde (Ind); Kam Hing Choong (Mas) bt Naresh Kumar (Ind) 11-13, 11-2, 8-11, 11-4, 11-6, to play Chris Simpson (Eng); Kamran Khan (Mas) bt Anson Kwong (Hkg) 11-4, 11-6, 11-8, to play Max Lee (Hkg); Elvinn Keo (Mas) bt B.Balamurugan (Ind) 11-9, 11-5, 11-5, to play Saurav Ghosal (Ind).
