Ghaziabad, Nov 4 (IANS) Two cases of alleged rape involving minors were reported here and one of the accused has been arrested, the police said here Tuesday.
According to the police, a class 9 student of a government school allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl. The girl was alone at her house in Kaila-Bhatta area late Monday night when the accused entered the house and allegedly raped her.
A case was registered by the girl's father and the police arrested the accused, officials said. The medical examination of the girl was conducted at MMG district hospital.
In another case, a Class 10 student allegedly raped a six-year-old child from his locality late Monday night. He fled the scene of crime when the neighbours came to know about the incident, police officials at Sihani-Gate station said.
The minor's family has lodged a case, the police said.
