E-City Ent. in collaboration with Mahindra Renault announces monsoon dhamaka

June 19: A special treat for movie watcher; first time in the history of Indian cinema, on purchase of a movie ticket and cinema-goers can win a Mahindra Renault Logan.

In collaboration with Mahindra Renault, E-City Ventures promoted Fun Cinemas has announced its three-week long monsoon dhamaka, “Ticket to Drive”, between June 15 and July 6. During which cinema goers can win a Mahindra Renault Logan as the grand prize. Also up for the grabs during the promotional contest are three Kinetic bikes.

The promotion, sponsored by Mahindra Renault and Kinetic, will run simultaneously in 8 cities and 12 Fun Cinema locations across the country. Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmadabad, Chandigarh, Panipat, Agra, Lucknow and Jaipur are the fortunate ones.

“This monsoon Fun Cinemas across the country will be showing some great movies in the hopes to see some of its patrons emerge big winners,” said Shirish Handa, Senior Vice President Marketing, Fun Cinemas, in a statement.

To avail the opportunity, viewers only need to fill and drop-off the contest form, provided on purchase of each ticket.

Fun Cinema will run some of the must-watch bunch of films of different genres like The Train, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Shoot Out at Lokhandwala, Aap Ka Suroor and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom among many others.

Fun Multiplex Pvt Ltd, with brand names of Fun cinemas and Fun junctions, operates 50 cinema screens in eleven cities and fourteen locations – Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Agra, Jaipur, Bangalore, Panipat and Gulbarga. Additional 150 screens in 24 cities across the country will be operational by 2009.
