A little peek: Mere Baap Pehle Aap

Under the banner of Shemaroo Entertainment Private Limited, Comedy king Priyadarshan yet again ready to make a laugh riot with his upcoming Mere Baap Pehle Aap.

This time too the Hungama, Hulchul director teamed up with Akshya Khana along with Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav as his earlier partner but with another versatile actor Naseruddin Shah who is new to his comedy gang.

As per the latest released movie video preview, this comedy entertainer seems comical with enough hilarious moment to laugh for.

The director known for making remakes of Malayalam films too seems to be yet another remake of a south hit; to be exact a Malayalam film Istham, starring Dileep, Navya Nair, Nedumudi Venu.

Priyadarshan’s last two movies Dhol and Bhool Bhulaiya were also based on two south movies and both grossed a good return at box office. In fact Akshya Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer Bhool Bhulaiya released on October 12, 2007 is one of his super-hit movies.

The music of Mere Baap Pehle Aap has been composed by Vidyasagar, the same composer of Hulchul where as the lyrics are penned by one of Bollywood’s romantic writers Sameer. The film is expected to release on June 13.

Among Priyadarshan’s upcoming movies, there are another two in 2008 calendar: Pirate starring Akshay Kumar, Deepika Pudukone, Parash Rawal, Rajpal Yaadav and the second Billo Barbar starring Irfan Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Lara Dutta in the lead roles.
