Obama, McCain images created on Orissa beach
Puri, Nov 2 (IANS) Sand artist Sudarsan Patnaik Sunday created the images of US presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain on a Orissa beach.
Patnaik also created five feet long sand image of the White House on the beach in Puri, some 56 km from state capital Bhubaneswar.
In front of the White House image, he created images of Barack Obama and John McCain.
'I and some of my students worked about seven hours to create the images,' Patnaik told IANS, adding that hundreds of tourists thronged the site and appreciated the images.
Sudarsan has participated in over 37 international sand sculpture championships across the globe. He has won many international awards for his creations.
The US presidential election will take place Nov 4.
