Angelina Jolie may be back as Lara Croft
New York, Oct 30 (IANS) Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie might just be returning as Lara Croft once again.
Lara Croft is a fictional character and the protagonist of Eidos Interactive's 'Tomb Raider' video game series that has also been featured in movies - "Tomb Raider" (2001) and "Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life" (2003).
According to reports, Jolie who starred in the lead in the first two movies, is being sought after to reclaim her Lara Croft title once again, reports hollywoodnews.com.
"Lara is such a fantastic character and the games lend themselves to movies so well. Even though the first two movies were not very well received, there is still a lot of confidence in Lara and Tomb Raider as a franchise," said an insider.
The insider added: 'The producers would dearly love to get Angelina back in the role and the door is being left open to her. This would be a far darker movie with a lot more emphasis on storyline.'
