New Delhi, Oct 30 (IANS) Gautam Gambir and V.V.S. Laxman powered India to 515/6 at tea on the second day of the third cricket Test againt Australia at the Feroze Shah Kotla stadium here Thursday.
Gambhir (206) went on to hit his maiden double Test hundred before being bowled out by Shane Watson.
Laxman( 160 batting) along with skipper Anil Kumble (16 not out) were at the crease.
For Australia, Shane Watson took two wickets for 66 while Simon Katich (1-60) snared the wicket of Sourav Ganguly (5).
