Sunny, Dhruv guide Sonnet to SP trophy final

Brilliant knocks by Sunny Singh (58) and Dhruv Singh (56 n.o.) followed by some good off-spin bowling by Suhail Sharma (3/30) helped Sonnet club beat Mohali cricket Association by 7 runs and entered the final of the 15th Shera Pandit memorial cricket tournament for SP trophy played at the Mohan Meakin ground.


Dhruv Singh was named man of the match for his superb batting knock. Sonnet will now fight it out against DDCA Colts in the finals on 27th at Jamia Millia ground.

Fine unbeaten half-century by Varun Khanna (65) and a superb three-wicket haul apiece by Kanav Bajaj (3/38) and Kunal Dabas (3/08) helped Delhi Public School, Rohini beat Hans Raj Model School, Punjabi Bagh by 5 runs to move into the next round of the 6th Bal Bharti Inter School cricket tournament played at the Pitampura ground.

Puma Odina in quarters

Good half-centuries knock by Mohit Sharma (62) and Deepak Sharma (50) ably supported by Kapil Yadav (4/36) helped Puma Odina beat Friends club by 90 runs and entered the quarterfinals of the Ankit Lakhotia memorial cricket tournament played at the MMH College ground.

Kapil was named man of the match for picking up a fine four-wicket haul.

Fine all-round performance by Rajnish (3/29 and 29) aided OPTO Group to snatch a thrilling last ball one-wicket victory over Indian Air Force to move into the semi-finals of the 18th All-India Om Nath Sood Memorial cricket tournament played at the Roshanara Club ground here on Tuesday.

RR Gymkhana in RC Sharma final

Fine individual performances by Mohit Sharma (62), Tushar Gupta (46) and Amit (2/15) powered Rohtak Road Gymkhana beat Ravindra Public school by 19 runs and entered the final of the RC Sharma meet.
