Three Delhi boys among five Boost 'Ratnas'
The three promising cricketers of Delhi have been chosen among five ‘Ratnas’ shortlisted after the end of the seven-day Boost Cricket Coaching camp conducted, under the guidance of former Test cricketers Mohinder Amarnath and Surinder Khanna, at the Mumbai Cricket Association ground in Kandivli.

The Boost Cricket Cup 2007 threw up five talented under-17 cricketers who are good enough to enter the big league of Indian cricket with the slight adjustments required in their game at different levels.
Sandeep Kaushik (All-rounder, Salwan Boys School, Delhi), Nitish Rana (Batsman, Salwan Boys School, Delhi), M Kamalessh (Wicket-keeper Batsman, Santhome High School, Chennai), Shahnawaz Mirza (Batsman, DAV, Chandigarh) and Yatharh Tomar (Bowler, Salwan Boys School, Delhi) are the five Ratnas who stood out tall among the 20 cricketers, who had excelled in the Boost Cricket Competitions held in 18 cities.
The names of the five cricketers, called ‘Ratnas’ were formally announced at a function attended by former BCCI President Raj Singh Dungarpur, Nari Contractor, Surinder Khanna, Dr Eijaz Ashai and Prof. Ratnakar Shetty.
All the five talented cricketers were awarded trophies and a cash prize of Rs 20,000 each. All of them have not only excelled on the field during the Boost Cricket Cup, but also impressed the coaches with their sheer dedication and physical fitness, showing their hunger of success towards the game.
