La Paz, Oct 28 (IANS) At least 15 people were killed and more than 40 injured when the bus they were travelling in plunged into a ravine in the southern Bolivian province of Tarija, EFE reported Tuesday.
The accident Monday happened when the vehicle went off the road in the Cumbre de Sama area, an hour's drive from Tarija city, and fell into a 300-metre deep ravine.
Initial reports said poor visibility in deep fog could have caused the accident. The bus was carrying athletes and a group of medical students.
