India juniors qualify for World Group final
The future of Indian tennis is surely on the right path as the promising juniors of the country are making India proud in the World arena after putting up tremendous show in the international circuit.
The latest achievement earned by the upcoming Indian juniors is to make the grade for the World Group final of under-14 tennis championship to be held in August in Prostejov, Czech Republic
India beat Uzbekistan 2-1 in the quarterfinal of the Asia-Oceania leg of World under-14 tennis championship at Shenzen, China.

Top-seeded India advanced to the semi-finals, and also qualified for World Group final, where it will meet China, who blanked Chinese Taipei 3-0 in the other quarterfinal.
Digvijay Singh Mehta tamed Temur Ismailov 6-2, 6-1 put India ahead by clinching the first singles on Thursday, while Ronit Bisht defeated Abduvoris Sadmukhamedov 6-1, 6-0 in the second singles to take an unassailable lead of 2-0.
However, the Mehta and Ramkumar Ramanathan combine later lost the doubles tie to Sanjar Fayziev and Sadmukhamedov 6-7(4), 2-6 after giving tough fight to their opponents in the first set.
Earlier on Wednesday, India blanked Tajikistan 3-0 in their last Group 'A' encounter to move into the quarterfinals of the Asia-Oceania leg of the World under-14 tennis championship.
