Slain gangster Thokia's brother arrested
Lucknow, Oct 26 (IANS) Wanted in a dozen criminal cases, the younger brother of slain gangster Ambika Prasad Patel alias Thokia has been arrested in Uttar Pradesh, police said Saturday.
Chote Lal alias Chotaku was caught Friday night in Bharatpur village in Chitrakoot, some 300 km from Lucknow, district police chief D.

'Lal was an active member of the Thokia gang for the last seven years and was involved in murder, abduction and loot,' Rai said.
The police recovered several locally made guns and half a dozen live cartridges from Lal's possession. Besides Uttar Pradesh, Lal also operated in Madhya Pradesh.
Lal's elder brother Thokia, who carried a reward of more than half a million rupees on his head, was gunned down by the police in August in Chitrakoot.
